My recommendation is to wait for the BakBox version 2. I am sure that an alternative means other than velcro would be better. Velcro? And the way the hook strap met the loop strap there was only about 1" of the strap that could be velcroed together. There was room for two clamps per bracket and that would have been a sturdier attachment to the bed rails.ģ) The BakBox was held open by a velcro strap. Maybe 58" fits other truck beds but not the Silverado.Ģ) Each bracket for the BakBox attached to the bed rail using a single clamp leaving some wobble when assembled. The panels were 58" long and needed to be 61". I had issues with a couple of things when installing the BakBox on my 2015 Silverado:ġ) The BakBox panels were not long enough to reach the four bolt holes on each of the brackets as described in the instructions. Are you able to open the Ramboxes with the 5th wheel attached It looks like there should be enough room to open them at least part way.
